Today’s Favorites – Crockett & Jones

Yes, it’s another saddle shoe, but the difference between this Crockett & Jones model and the rest that I display is the fact that this is an actual dress shoe model to be worn with a suit as opposed to the casual ones that I have found in the past. That’s what I love most about it. Usually you will find that saddle shoes are generally designed for a more casual model of shoe, since ultimately, that’s what it originated as. But when you find one that is on the dressier side, it becomes a beautiful option in the shoe style world, one that I find to be of the most appealing!! If only it had a different color saddle, how cool would that be……….?

  • Interesting post, Crockett and Jones shoes are in very short supply at the moment and stocks for C & J's will not be readily available again until March or so.

  • Johan – Thanks for the info, sounds like the company is doing well!-Justin, "The Shoe Snob"
