JF Button Boots Now In Stock, Ready For Shipment
I realize that early this week, I said that it was going to be a week about Spanish shoemakers, but I guess that I was only telling a half truth. And while I may not be a Spanish brand, I guess I can get off a little with the fact that at least my shoes are made in Spain!!
Well, the Button Boots have finally arrived (less 2 pairs that are delayed but in route) and are now ready for shipment for those that wish to purchase and get instant (kind of) gratification.
I have sent a few out already to pre-purchasers and noticed that my fears of the buttoning by hand were a bit exaggerated as people seem to think that even with hand it was easy. Fair enough. Also, I thought that they ran tight in comparison to other shoes so I left a warning about those with high insteps to be wary and maybe size up, but apparently some who took the risk anyway, have been fine getting them on and even feel they have a bit of space leftover. Who knew? I guess that means that I like to wear my shoes on the tight side as I remember cursing and breaking a sweat the first time that I attempted to fasten them. Oh well!
On another note, I have officially launched my J.FitzPatrick Footwear blog. Therefore, if you are interested in J.FitzPatrick Footwear you will now find more regular posts about our shoes at that site. I realized though that I am not crazy about the layout and will be making it like the TSS Blog. But at least you have a URL now to go to. And that is: http://blog.jfitzpatrickfootwear.com/
I have sold about half the stock already during the pre-sale so if you are interested in getting a pair and see that your size is there, don’t hesitate too long as they will go fast and I won’t have a re-stock until at least Jan/Feb.
A great weekend to all!
