The Team (from left): Justin, Stacey, Ngoni and Simon

A few months ago we asked for donations to help support the growth of The Shoe Snob by attempting to find someone that could replace many of my duties. While we did not earn nearly enough to be able to do that, we did earn enough to put towards the wage of someone that we have just recently hired, who is not only helping us in business development but also slowly taking over some of my duties too. This has been great for me as I can slowly start to focus on other things that can help grow the brand. Therefore, what you might start to notice is that across all social media (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, J.FitzPatrick Footwear blog etc.) that the voice of what was once always my own, might sound a bit different (as someone else might be posting). Even here on The Shoe Snob Blog, I will start to let my grip go and allow not only for people (those that work for me) to give me ideas on what to write about/do but also to give free reign (but with my proofreading) to write their own posts.

In the coming days you will already start to see different types of posts written by other individuals so if all of the sudden I sound British or like a girl writing, that’s because it’s not actually me and I am trying to evolve and allow myself to step away from something in order to inject a bit of fresh creativity into it. So I hope that it goes well and that you will all enjoy the new direction that we are attempting to go in order to evolve and progress the company.

And for all of the people that might have doubted me asking for donations, you can now rest assured that it was genuine and to all of you that actually donated please see how your money is helping us grow as a company and I thank you again for your support!

Sincerely,

Justin, “The Shoe Snob”

Good point. Don’t understand why company profits can’t be used to pay for marketing staff as any other company would be required to do. Seems cheap to me.
