J.FitzPatrick Footwear’s 3rd round of PreSale is now live (with still more to come believe it or not). For this presale, we are offering our version of the much popular hand stitched apron shoe, coming in a derby form as well as an oxford form. On top of that, we have updated our single monk and added a few new colorways in it.

The hand sewn apron Derby is somewhat of cult classic model that we finally decided to get on board with however leaving out the much sought after split toe stitch for what we felt was not only more of a clean look but also allowing it to be slightly more dress-like in nature. Coming in 6 colorways, mainly consisting of various shades of brown we hope that you enjoy our version of the classic model.

One thing we wanted to try that we don’t often see was adding a hand sewn apron (and heel counter) to a wholecut oxford. This also allows those that may not fancy the derby model to also have an option to purchase and wear but also brings something unique to the industry. And to top it off this model also marks the introduction of a new leather color of ours, called Auburn, which really sits well into the feeling of the Spring/Summer season.

Lastly on the model front, we have updated our old Fauntleroy model by removing the faux stiching on the cap/heel counter and changing the last to the NGT. We felt that it was time to update this model in order to make it even more sleeker and thus allow people the alternative to the oxford with the clean lines of the balmoral single monkstrap. But aside from doing the classic black calf model, we decided to go slightly bold with our two tones options which we felt offered great alternative to the other monkstraps of the industry.

This S/S season also introduces a new last of ours, the SEA (for Seattle), which is shown on the Lynwood model. This, like the NGT last, is among our more fitting lasts, offering a very hugging feeling through the arch/heel/forefoot which adding a tiny bit of length in the toe. But what is truly different about it is that it is our first symmetrical last which leaves a very clean and sharp look, particularly on a derby model. We hope that you like it!

As always for our pre-sales we like to offer a bit something extra to entice people and whilst on our first two presales we offered free shoe trees, we thought that we would shake it up this time by offering:  10% OFF FULL RETAIL PRICE (already deducted on the site).

The Pre-Sale ends Monday, the 3rd of April at 8am GMT. Just remember that if a size goes, it won’t be back until around August/September so don’t miss your chance to enjoy one of these shoes for our lovely upcoming Spring/Summer seasons!
