While I am not crazy about the burnishing job that Scarpe Di Bianco did on the toes and heels, I do love the fact that they darkened the leather where the brogueing takes place. This feature provides a great way to accentuate the brogue and while this might be quite loud for some, I find it to be something that will help differentiate the model from all of the other full-brogues that would look exactly […]

Ramis by MEERMIN 2Above: Corthay -† Picture Courtesy Of: Leffot A nice plain toe derby can go a long way: from jeans all the way to being worn with a suit depending on the cut and elegance of the particular model. It’s simplicity can be a refreshing treat when one is used to always wearing brogues, heavily stitched or intricately […]
What is it in our outfit that makes us tick? Makes us feel invincible? Makes us feel like we can do anything? Obviously, for each person these questions will produce a different answer but I am willing to bet that the majority of people will attribute their feelings of grandeur being directly related to the shoes they choose to buy and wear. It only makes sense considering that the foundation, for any object or idea, […]
† There is really nothing to say. Corthay’s ‘Vendome’ model is beauty at it’s finest….. Pictures provided by either:–Leffot shoe boutique in Manhattan, NY–L’atelier du Chausseur in Bordeaux, France
Men’s Shoes: One can always count on Ferragamo to make a beautiful red shoe. I wonder if red was Salvatore’s favorite color because the company never seems to shy away from adding a pair to their men’s collection if not once a year then a minimum of once ever two years. And while that may not seem like a lot, some shoe companies never add a pair of red shoes to any of their collections. […]
Here are a couple of random shoes for you. The top shoes (spectators) are by Rider Boot Co, the gray sneakers are by Bally and the bottom two pictures are shoes by Neil Barrett. The others I am not completely sure about. Enjoy nonetheless!!
† You have to love a nice spectator. It’s one of the few shoes that can be put to use during all of our beautiful four seasons and be worn with many different types of clothing. Not only can you pair them with a smart suit, or just some nice trousers and a button-up but best of all, they look great with a nice pair of jeans. Even though the weather here in England is […]
