A Different Outfit Every Day

Looking at this picture, and not really liking the burgundy trousers paired with my (predominantly black) outfit, made me realize something about myself and the way in which I dress. Being that I have an excessive amount of clothing and dress by moods (and matching), I tend to always try something new. I realized that I think that I am relatively rare in this aspect, when I started to think about how the average man may dress: calculated. Take my stylish friend in the background for example. He is one of the most well put-together men around, yet I noticed that him and many other of my colleagues have ‘pre-planned outfits.’ I mean this in the sense, that if they know that they are wearing such and such suit (say blue), they have the shirt/tie combo already planned to pair with that suit. That burgundy tie that he has on usually comes out when he wears that suit, and he will usually wear his black tie/blue shirt w/ white collar combo with his gray suit: calculated. I differ in the sense, that while this jacket/shoe combo may have been better with my gray trousers, I decided to try something new and add the burgundy ones. Something that I now see did not go that well, but necessary for experimenting nonetheless.
