Today’s Favorites – Caulaincourt Adelaides

I always love seeing something that I have never really seen before, and this model here by Caulaincourt represents just that for me. While the pattern is not really that unfamiliar, as I have seen something similar by Berluti, the combination between leathers (suede & calf) and colors (brown and what looks like gray) is simply amazing. I really have been loving suede more and more these days and constantly find it sad that it is very much underrepresented in the shoe industry. For example, when was the last time that you saw a shoe that was black suede? Yet, black suede (for me) is so beautiful, but no one wears it, and even worse no one makes it…..Therefore seeing these beauties gave me great pleasure.

Anyway, I am a bit tired today, busy and at a loss for clever phrases, so I will leave it at this and will hopefully have some more interesting verbiage tomorrow….

Best,
