Green Suede Spectators

A deep green suede can be one of the most attractive leathers to use on a shoe, particularly if it is done right. I, myself, have been searching for the right one, but have yet to hit gold. Found an olive green suede one, but it does not quite hit the nail on the head in terms of tonal perfection! Oh well, soon enough. This model here on the other hand, which I am not […]

Zonkey Boot Jodhpur

I have always liked the idea of Jodhpur boots but have never really took the plunge into them. Thinking about it, the only boots that I really every like on my own foot are ones with laces, like chukka’s, balmoral/oxford boots or darby boots. It’s weird how you will like the look of something on other people or in picture etc, but then when you give it a go for yourself, it becomes a whole […]

New Bespoke Cleverley Models

George Cleverley has come out with a few new bespoke models this A/W2013 that look very promising and exciting! I particularly like the double monk, but am also quite intrigued by the brogue with what seems to have the most brogueing in the world. It’s looks very ‘old world.’ It reminds me of something from the 30’s/40’s, particularly how it looks as if they stitched the welt with about 18-20 stitches to the inch (10-12 […]

Wildsmith Back in Action and Now Live!

Wildsmith, the name that for some reason makes me think of cowboy boots and that was once associated with some of the finest shoes around, has come back into the shoe industry, ready to take it by storm! While they used to be made by Edward Green before their closure some 30-40 years back, the current owners decided to change things up a bit by creating a more competitive and affordable price-point, ranging between 335-365 […]

My New Camera + George Cleverley = Better Photography From Now On!!!

So, a lot has been going on these days, not only personally with the birth of my new son (and thus the problems that I am now having with time management and getting back to emails and comments) but also with the company and the new projects that we are taking on. As you can clearly see by reading this, I have a new blog platform. And while I am terribly excited by this and […]

Bespoke Spectators

Dear Readers, Well I hope that you all have been enjoying the new layout of the blog. As you may have come across already, there are still a lot of kinks that I will be needing to work out as I transition over to the new platfrom, WordPress, which is a lot better for creating a more technical and professional site, but also infinitely more difficult and confusing to navigate and use as a moderator. […]
