Holiday Parties – What To Wear??

I guess as we grow up, we stop thinking about what Christmas presents we are going to get or what’s going to be under the next flap on the advent calendar and we start planning out which holiday parties we are going to grace our presence with. More importantly, we think about what we are going to wear in order to look better than everyone else at the party. Well, if your idea already involves […]

Shoe Of The Day

I finally found a company that did exactly what I think every company should do: make a great model and offer it in 6 different colors, because really, who just wants black or brown? Thank you Oliver Sweeney!! This model called, “Orate,” is a great example of a classic style touched by a modern twist. When I searched for this shoe (Florsheim by Duckie Brown) online I saw that at most of the sites that sold it over the net were close to sold out, with the exception of Zappos that has an inventory so big it must be hard to sell […]

Gray Shoes – The New Black

Over the past couple of years you might have noticed the uprising of gray dress shoes being introduced by many of the well known Italian fashion labels such as Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Ferragamo etc as well as some of the other more ‘racy’ labels from other countries like Paul Smith from England and Magnanni from Spain. While many colors are introduced into a line to be a taste of something different, I feel like […]

Adidas + Ransom Collaboration

In case you haven’t heard yet, Canadian shoe design company and retailer, Ransom, has recently created a line of shoes in collaboration with the one of the original pioneers of sneakers, Adidas. From my research it would appear that this collaboration is in it’s second season, starting in F/W ’09 and has just released their S/S ’10 package. Based on what I have seen thus far and what I am showing you here it goes […]
