Aubercy Sketch Design
Design is an amazing thing. It can be translated/expressed in so many different ways, from a simple Joe Schmo sketch like mine, to this amazing work of art that someone drew as a concept to a pair of Aubercy shoes. It’s amazing to think about about how an idea turns into a tangible product and to see how that idea was expressed. This design here, looks identical to the actual product, which makes sense as the drawing almost looks as if it was real. On the other hand, you have my designs that are pencil sketched outlines, that give a look to what I am trying to envision, but don’t quite express it to a “T.” Then you have people like Tony Gaziano who skip the entire design process altogether, and just create the pattern straight from the shape of the last. And yet we all end up with the same (theoretically) product: Dress Shoes. Granted, some are better than others, but it is still amazing to think about the conception of any great product and how that conception was translated in order to produce something tangible…….
Gosh, I wish that I could draw as well as the person who did this….
