When your wardrobe is full of shoes of all the various colors on the spectrum, where do you go from there? Well, I would say that most people (presuming they like exotic leather) would start to venture outside the world of calfskin. There are your traditional types of non-cow leather like Croc, Gator, Pig etc. but how often you come across buffalo? While this isn’t the first shoe that has ever had it, it certainly is a unique option that you don’t see a lot. What’s cool about it is that it’s texture, being quite prominent, really lends itself to being worn on a more casual basis, smart casual that is. This pair in particular, by Carmina and found at Skoaktiebolaget, would look great underneath a nice pair of tapered jeans with a casual jacket on top. That’s not to say that it is the only thing it can be worn with but for me that is what comes to mind when looking at this shoe: Denim.
